DAY 1 – SAN JUAN DE LA PEÑA MONASTERY – JACA
Our trip begins by visiting two of the most important Romanesque monuments. First we will visit the monastery of San Juan de La Peña located in the Protected Landscape of San Juan de la Peña and Monte Oroel, and then we will visit the beautiful town of Santa Cruz de la Serós. After eating in one of the best restaurants, we will visit Jaca and its cathedral.
DAY 2 – TENA VALLEY
One of the most beautiful Pyrenean valleys, located in the heart of the Ordesa and Viñamala Biosphere Reserve.
We will begin by visiting a spectacular waterfall next to a beautiful glacial lake. We will continue visiting the beautiful towns of Sallent de Gállego and Lanuza, to finish, after tasting a Pyrenean menu, visiting an artisan beer factory with tasting, in the same town of witches, where the worst epidemic of demonization known in Spain occurred. DAY 3 – ALQUEZAR AND AINSA
Today we will visit two of the towns declared the most beautiful in Spain. Firstly, the town of Alquézar, declared a historical-artistic site. After lunch in one of the best wine cellars in the Somontano designation of origin, we will head to the medieval town of Ainsa.
DAY 4 – SERRABLO
As a farewell, we will visit some authentic architectural gems located in impressive natural settings: the churches of Serrablo. A set of pre-Romanesque churches unique in the world due to their peculiarities.
The final touch will be a tasting menu prepared by one of the best chefs on the national scene.
